4Patriots Donates Food to Houston Food Bank
The flooding that occurred in the Houston area in April 2016 was nothing short of devastating. Here are some of the startling statistics, according to CNN:
- 240 billion gallons of rain fell in the Houston area.
- The rain was enough to fill 363,400 Olympic-size swimming pools.
- 123,000 homes lost power.
- A state of disaster was declared in nine different counties.
- 1,000 homes were flooded.
- Property damage in Harris County totaled $5 billion.
- 1,200 high-water rescues were made.
Needless to say, many people were suddenly left without food and clean drinking water, and without a way to get more.
At 4Patriots, we talk a lot about being prepared for these types of things. But the truth is, some folks are unable to do that, due to living paycheck by paycheck or not having a job at all.
Our hearts go out to those people… and so does our food. We recently donated a three-month kit of our Food4Patriots emergency food to the Houston Food Bank (www.HoustonFoodBank.org). They received our donation on May 5, 2016.
I’m not patting ourselves on the back here. I’m only mentioning it to let you know that your purchases of our products – including Food4Patriots – are what allow us to help people in need.
And if you want to be prepared for the next weather-related crisis in your area, take a peek at what we offer at www.Food4Patriots.com. Our emergency food has a shelf life of up to 25 years and comes packaged in 72-hour, one-week, four-week, three-month and one-year kits.

Well Frank, I realize that you are a modest man; so please allow me to give you that well deserve pat on the back – – – Well done, thank-you for seeing and filling a void which most of us didn’t even think about or see.
All too often we hear about a catastrophe and we don’t think of what we can do to ease the situation. For example, the fire in Canada, Fort Henry. People had to flee their homes, most with just the clothes on their backs. As Americans we are one of the first to send aid and help. But when it comes to our own back yard we shamefully tend to over look the dire straits of or own.
Well Frank, thank-you for looking after your own. Personally I am ashamed of myself for not think of the folks in the Houston area and what I can do. Perhaps you will allow me to throw a few bucks your way to add to what you have already sent. I know that your Food4patriots is a good source for a good meal; so what better way to help out by sharing the cost with you. What do you say, are you game?
