Medicare dollars to now cover sex changes
Have you ever seen the “I Love Lucy” episode where Lucy and Ethel are working at a candy factory and their job is to pick up chocolate candies from a conveyor belt and put them in wrappers? When the conveyor belt starts going faster, they can’t keep up and so they frantically do everything they can to keep the candies from getting past them, including stuffing them in their mouths and hats.
Well, that’s how I feel about the many ways that Barack Obama and his band of liberals are messing up this country. There are just so many things he is doing wrong and these things just keep coming faster and faster to the point where it’s very difficult to keep up with them all.
Of course, ObamaCare is one of those ways, and the latest news about this train wreck is that precious Medicare dollars that so many sick and elderly people need for their legitimate health problems are now going to be spent on – get this – sex change operations.
That’s right, the men who have decided they would rather be women and the women who have decided they would rather be men are going to be using up countless thousands of Medicare dollars for their sex change operations. And that means less money will be available for the people who need healthcare treatment for real problems.
Ilona Turner, the legal director for the Transgender Law Center, says, “The medical consensus is clear that access to healthcare for gender transition is a critical medical need for many transgender people. Transgender people deserve the same access as everyone else to the medical treatment they need.”
Wow! If someone had told me 10 years ago how incredibly messed up this country would become in such a short period of time – thanks mainly to the guy who now sits in the Oval Office – I’d have told them they were crazy. But it’s true. Everything is now backwards. Everything is now upside down. This guy has taken the moral fabric of our nation and ripped it into pieces. And Congress just sits there and lets him do it, and the media praises him for his actions. Incredible.
How do you feel about Medicare dollars being spent on sex change operations? Do you think this is something that’s going to make the United States a better country?
Thank God, he’ll be gone soon. I pray its not too late to save what’s left of our country.

Speaking of Medicare, if I could boycott it I would, but as a 67-year-old nobody, I’m required to have parts A and B in order to qualify for my medical sharing program, which actually would come through for me in case of an illness or accident. I realize that I myself am NOT politically expedient, and that Washington’s plan for me is that I begin decomposing, sooner rather than later.
However, my good health has always been high priority to me, for my own sake, not the government’s, so I’ve avoided using Medicare AT ALL thus far, although they suck out my Part B premium every month.
No, I think the CHANGE that O has been railing about since his first campaign is the CHUNK-O-CHANGE his administration has looted from the taxpayers — not to mention created out of thin air — to outdo even the Bush administration at spending money like water. What was O’s first move once elected? Not to create incentives for business and employment in the faltering economy, but… Ta-da… A STIMULUS PACKAGE of government spending, packed with pork, and then a second one, when the first wasn’t helping, to the tune of hundreds of billions of dollars altogether. And just when it was clear THAT wasn’t working, they wheeled in the Obamacare monstrosity, then staged a “government shutdown”, during which O railed before the entire world about the US defaulting on its debt unless “the Republicans” passed “a clean bill”, i.e., Obamacare intact.
But we’re not supposed to remember any of that; we’re supposed to have the attention span of a goldfish.
At the time the debt approached $17 TRILLION.
It’s a lot more now, sky’s the limit. That’s some change. The O administration is not only looting the taxpayers, but generations to come, who will suffer the consequences when Humpty Dumpty falls. Priorities, please!
Can We The People not elect leaders who can see beyond their own little careers and actually care about future generations? Their own children and grandchildren, for heaven’s sake!

This was up from a national debt of $12.440 trillion on March 1, 2010, meaning that federal government debt increased by approximately $333 billion in the month of March 2010 alone.” And it now stands at 19.44 trillion.
Trump has a lot on his agenda with Hillary, Obama, and all Obama and Hillary leftovers.
Obama abused SS and Medicare with his Obamacare. The only people who benefitted were Michelle friends, hired with out Congress approval. Every President has used SS MONEY for pet projects. Hopefully TRUMP will cut Illegals and Refugees from SS and Medicare.
On the increase of 3%, I got one Dollar. Brown got the 7.00 for his criminals.

I work for a hospital in Medicare billing and in the last few years they have paid less and less for important tests, drugs and procedures. Sometimes they have the patient sign a form acknowledging they might be responsible. And unnessessary transgender surgery will be covered? Crazy
This is our President creating more places to hide his hotdog. It’s nothing but demonic.
I sit here monitoring the freight business in the United States…a business that used to provide me, a trucking agent, with a nice comfortable living. Today I have been reduced to medicaid, and food stamps because this country is in such bad shape, that of the 39 freight accounts that I once had, now only a handful are open and operational. All those freight accounts were tied to the building trades in this country. No building means no growth, no money, and a failing and stagnant economy and no politician can or should deny that fact. But, unfortunately, none of them ever talk about that part of our lives. This country gives away untold dollar amounts to other “less fortunate” countries while in American, people live in cardboard boxes over street vents to keep from freezing. Children starve and have no healthcare. Yet, our great a wondrous government chooses to give welfare, housing, and healthcare to illegals rather than take care of its own. How can anyone in our government justify these decisions?? So yes, I suspect everyone in Washington is on the payroll of some controlling faction. Call it big business, call it world order banking, call it whatever trips your trigger, but this much I see and know, this country is on a downhill slide, and unless we all wake up, impeach our present regime, and put this country back into the hands of “we the people” we are a doomed society. Common sense does not exist in Washington and has not for a long time. A new congress chosen by a congressional region lottery and manned by common everyday people chosen from all walks of life, would at least understand the common plight of its citizens. Our Government is so out of touch with its own people, that they cannot see the forest for the trees. WE may have unfortunately neglected our duties as voting citizens and elected and re-elected those same card carrying politicians into office, but unless we rethink our priorities as citizens and take back the control of our own lives, it is not going to get better. You can write to your congressman til your fingers bleed, but he will not listen. Your only option in all this mess is to revolt literally, or figuratively by electing a whole new set of faces in Washington. Forget all that political propaganda about “experience” and put unknowns in office. It may seem like the stupid thing to do, but stupid means that they are not on someones payroll right now. Stupid means that they just might be in touch with the real reality of life in the USA. Stupid and inexperienced in the ways of corruption means that they have been where you are, and do not want it to happen to their children or children’s’ children. Stupid means that “we the people” might finally get back to ruling our own lives. And if that doesn’t work, then surely our forefathers left a means for us to take back control… revolution comes in a lot of forms..it can be as simple as refusing to pay taxes…remember that old saying…taxation without representation?? i think the boston tea party of old took care of that problem. We all hope that we dont’ have to do anything that violent but in a country where we send our children off to defend us time and time again, and welcome them home has heros, we surely have the means to gain control of a government that cannot even balance our budget. A government that votes to not care for our war heroes created in a war that they created. Look at it this way people, do you see any other country out there declaring war, whether publicized as such or not, on all these foreign governments except the USA?? For a supposedly peace loving people, we are at the forefront of every shot fired in the world. Somehow this is just so wrong, and so very one sided that I cannot begin to imagine who condones this war making policy except for someone who will profit exorbitant amounts of money from the firing of those shots. In other words, what happens on American soil, and on foreign soil, is ALL ABOUT THE MONEY… AND THEREIN LIES THE JIST OF THE WHOLE PROBLEM IN AMERICA…. GREED AND CORRUPTION TURN PROFITS.. Barbara, I really feel your pain. I’ve been in the same boat as you to some extent. The trucking industry is slowly coming back from a near collapse.
They say that to qualify as insane you must do something the same way expecting different results. It seems to fit the American Political system. Never have I seen so many dumb asses trying to fix this country by throwing more money down a bottomless pit. The Republicans all think that Ronald Regan play book on how to run this country still works – it doesn’t. Yet they keep trying.
The Democrats all think that Clinton’s play book is the way to go – yet again, it doesn’t work. Yet they will keep trying.
Then it is the people like us that votes to put them into office. We listen to the same old BS, they sing the same old tune, and we put them into office. We barley know anything about them other than that they may have tried for a high political office before and didn’t get it. Yet here they are trying again hoping that we will give them the keys to their new office, a blank cheque, and bitch about how we got screwed, again. Now isn’t that insane or what?
Who wants another Bush in office, or perhaps you prefer another Clinton? I’m looking for a candidate that won’t burn down the store like G.W. Bush did or another Clinton behaving badly, again. Nor do I want some off the wall politician’s son in office either. I am looking for someone that I know. Someone that will work in a way that I can trust. Someone that will repeal the Executive Orders that Obama has spread across this country like fertilizer. I suggest that you do the same. What does the count of Executive Orders mean? It’s the “Quality” or better yet – the ILLEGAL ones he has issued, and those are quite a few. Had they the votes in the Senate they would have impeached him years ago, but they still don’t. And he’s still busy stretching Executive power way past it legal bounds.
Now that’s just absolutely rediculous, and I’ll be nice about it for a change. That should be considered a luxury, not a life-threathening issue. Personally, I don’t think the government should be involved in any kind of health care, because at the moment, thanks to the ACA, I don’t have any health care, and don’t qualify for any.

Good for you. Linda.. You are blessed with a law that says that hospitals cannot deny you medical care because you cannot afford it. Therefore, if you require it, the costs will be passed along to those who can pay for it with cash or by insurance. Either way it is free to you and we get to pay for it. The ACA was developed because WE DO NOT LIKE GIVING YOU FREE MEDICAL AT OUR EXPENSE. Quit depending on others to pay for your medical care, unless you are independently wealthy, and buy insurance.
What in hell do you think the ACA is?! It’s “We The People” paying for contraception and if that don’t work, the murder of babies! The whole ignorant program relies 100% on someone else paying your bills or at least a portion of them if you’re fortunate enough to be able to afford the crap without a subsidy. OK I don’t think we will run out of Medicare dollars just because of transgender surgeries. It wasn’t the liberals that did it. It was your congress that voted for it and they ALL need to be voted out INCLUDING all the Republicans. Hospital costs are what YOU paid for all your life and since it was the baby boomers who put it in, then it should be there to spend, unless our fine crooked government spent some of it. The Medicare part that they keep wanting to change and reduce are the Advantage plans. The rest at this point is stable. Check out your research facts first before blabbing about lies. We both know our government is crooked in ALL the parties and ALL of them need to be voted out. If you want to get upset get upset about our Tennessee senators who voted AGAINST medical help for our veterans and AGAINST equal pay for both men and women.
