Mainstream media can’t hide what’s most important to them – themselves.
We all know that the so-called mainstream media leans to the left. And when I say “leans,” I mean “falls.” By their own admission, more than 80 percent of mainstream media are more liberal than conservative. So, there is a good chance that more than 80 percent of what you see, hear or read in the mainstream media is slanted in one fashion or another against the conservative viewpoint.
A classic example of this came recently when it was revealed that the Department of Justice had been secretly seizing the phone records of Associated Press reporters. The international news agency was up in arms over this, calling it a “massive and unprecedented intrusion” into the way it conducts business.
While I agree with the AP’s assessment of what happened, isn’t it strange how none of the mainstream media was appalled by the revelation that the Internal Revenue Service had been illegally targeting conservative groups for extra scrutiny. That was a far greater offense against the American people – especially during an election year – than the seizing of reporters’ phone records, and yet all we got out of the mainstream media on the IRS story was basic reporting. No one seemed outraged about this huge miscarriage of justice.
The same basic thing occurred recently when the liberal New York Times got upset with President Obama over the National Security Agency’s spying on Americans’ phone records and emails. The paper declared that Obama had “lost all credibility,” but as it turned out, they were mainly upset because the administration had given the equally liberal Washington Post the story first. When the Times cooled down, they changed their wording to “lost all credibility on this issue.”
It’s bad enough that we have to constantly fight our way to enjoy the Constitutional freedoms that are under attack by this administration, but when we also have to go up against liberal mainstream media, it becomes even more challenging.
I’ve included a link below to a Fox News article on this subject titled, “Former Attorneys General Say Justice Department’s AP Operation Highly Unusual.” Speculation is that the Department of Justice probe centered around who disclosed to the AP details of a CIA operation in Yemen that stopped an Al Qaeda plot in 2012 to detonate a bomb on an airplane bound for the U.S.

It’s very obvious that ALL of the so-called main media, ioncluding Fox, are nothing more than the propaganda arm of the Government. Their purpose is to either keep the american public totally in the dark about such issues as the economy, the world reaction to US foreign policy, criminal activities of the ruling elite, etc.

For the last 238 years the Press as been the voice, conscience, and watchdog of the people. By executive order, the President of the United States of America has declared that the Government will now take over where the newspapers have left off. The Government will see to it that each and every citizen’s rights will be taken care of . The citizen will not long have to worry about a thing as long as they follow what authorities require of them.
The news media of yesteryear has become obsolete do to its inability to alert the masses of various changes in the law that the Government has implemented over the years. Instead of alerting the mass of these changes; the news media just quietly sat on the sidelines, often assisting in the dismantlement of the old United States Constitution and Bill of Rights by remaining silent. These documents and others have been suspended by the Government; due to their inability to address todays issues effectively.
Over the decades local, State, and Federal Laws have dwindled, hampered, and block the laws that this once great nation had once pride itself on. The United States once flaunted itself before the world as being the best that democracy had to offer. However, due to dwindling resources, never ending wars, greed, and the militarized of law enforcement; the United States has fallen into decay and ruin. It is no longer the world leader it once was. Therefore, in the best interest of the country and its citizens; the former United States Government has come to the conclusion and decision, due to the overwhelming number of the people that live within the United States, with the dwindling resources to support the vast amount of people; the Federal government has decided to become the steward of its people. The Government will see to it that each person is given the proper amount of guidance and available resources needed to become a productive citizen of the United States of America.
Is this how you want the end to read? Because the news media fail to be the watchdog of the common man, the Federal Government finally suspended all rights and guarantees under the Constitution? You have allowed money to become the device that eroded your rights. The power you hold as a group was diminished because you as citizens failed to voice your thoughts and opinions that shaped how the news media performs it tasks. It is you that must demand transparency, truth, and honesty; not only of your Government but of the corporations that help support this Government. Without you there is nothing – – – but, silence.
Remember, you are the one that trains the watchdog; not the other way around.
I am very sad to see the great Country of the USA is in shambles. The other sad thing about it is people seem to just ignore the signs of the times. Like “Gulliver” (Gulliver’s Travel book) the people of this great nation are all bound while asleep .

All Americans need to demand Right Now that OUR Government put a stop to the 1947 National Security Act that Gives our Government the right to keep what the Government considers National Security matters/info; They have been using those words to cover and lie about everything they have done since 1947 – Do not just wake up demand in one letter and copies to all your elected officials that WE THE PEOPLE Demand OUR Elected officials remove the National Security Act or change it to allow Americans to have the right see and know what our Government does without blacking out everything asked for when we request a document or information on any American matter our Government keeps from our citizens and continues to be allowed to do so under the words “National Security” NO accountability – They are and will continue to act ABOVE THE LAW – OUR LAWS!
You’re definately right Linda. I participate in “phone-town hall meetings” but, the last one not just discourage me but outraged me too. Our Congressman only spewed hatred towards Obama, the USEPA and no one would speak out about how much this ‘childish behavior’ is tearing this country up. I don’t think people are asleep though, I think they’re just afraid to speak out against this govt.. I know I am. Just by participating in this blog probably puts me on a ‘watch list’. Unfortunately, my wife is very ill and needs my attention and I feel like I can’t jeopardize what’s left of her life just by excercising my right to ‘free speech’. Don’t get me wrong, I have been outspoken all of my adult life. So, I have to choose my battle very closely these days. I love this country like I love this planet. Our country is divided and there are way too many people that think they’re in the upper 1% who feel safe. They’re gonna have to realize that our Congress isn’t even gonna feel any obligation to the very big industries that put them in office in the first place. Even the upper 1% isn’t safe from this hostile government. As usual, it’ll have to be the ones with ‘nothing more to lose’ will carry the burden of fixing this once great nation. I beg my ‘Representatives’ NOT to push the majority so hard that we have to have a bloody revolution. I beg them to give the vote back to the people so we can have a ‘Democratic revolution’. A bloody “take over” is just setting ourselves up for what may be an even worse government. “Make every vote count by counting every vote.” There would be no more need for gerry mandering and we could clean out the money “followers” and replace them with people that trully love this nation.
Jeff, I understand your apprendion in becoming a possible target by our Government. You have a lot to lose and your plate is full as is mine. But understand this, you are not alone. I got your back. I too have a lot to lose. But I am willing to pay that price because of what is at stake. It isn’t so much for me, but, for my grandchildren and their children, children.

I’ve unfortunate come the point if I want to find out what is happening in MY United States, I watch the International News. They call it like it is without worrying whose feelings are on the line or whose political agenda is being pushed. Sad but true how much I’ve actually LEARNED about my own Country’s.
