Why tell the world you don’t have a strategy?
We all knew that Barack Obama was in way over his head when he was elected president in 2008. His inexperience was alarming and we could only hope that he would surround himself with people who would help him make good decisions on important issues. As we’ve seen, that didn’t happen.
Here at home, we’ve seen some horrendous changes taking place. We’re now spied on more than we ever were before. Conservative individuals and groups are now targeted for extra scrutiny by agencies such as the IRS and EPA. We have a healthcare system that instead of saving us some money is costing us a lot more money. And that’s just the tip of the domestic iceberg.
Any time the president has a serious foreign policy situation to deal with, most of us start cringing. The results have been disastrous. When he has failed to act, he’s made our enemies bolder. And when he has reacted to an international incident, his confusing actions have baffled our allies.
The latest crisis involves dealing with the terrorist group known as ISIS. First he underestimated them, referring to them as a “JV” team. Then he decided that dropping some bombs here and there on their equipment would slow them down. All that’s done is allowed them to recruit more members as they terrorize people in Iraq and Syria.
When asked recently how he was going to deal with ISIS as they continued to make inroads in Syria, Obama shocked everyone by saying, “We don’t have a strategy yet.” It had been months since ISIS started wreaking havoc in the Middle East, yet the president of the greatest and strongest nation in the world said he didn’t yet have a strategy.
Every time I think this guy can’t possibly say anything worse than what he’s already said, he surprises me. And this was a few days after a member of ISIS had beheaded an American in front of the world. The situation called for a strong, decisive response, but what we got from Obama instead was what we’ve always gotten from this president when it has come to an international crisis: nothing.
It’s bad enough to not have a strategy to deal with a terrorist group whose members are probably crossing over to America as we speak through the Mexican border that he has refused to secure. But then to announce it to the world just makes you look like a buffoon.
Most of us have been around long enough to recall the foreign policy decisions of several past presidents. Can anybody think of any other president who has done more to make the U.S. look bad in the eyes of the world than this guy?
This president is destroying America and bringing in danger to us all and want we the people to take care of them while they plan to take over America and Hillary will do the same. These people are evil devil worshipers God help us all..
America needs to wake up. We have Islamic terrorists doing whatever they want around the world and we do very little. We need to build up our military beyond anything we have ever had before and stop the stupid give away programs to pay for it. Bring back star wars. We need to demolish Iran if they try to get the nukes. Without a strong America this world as we know it is finished. This country is the only one that is holding this world from complete chaos.
If we put our troops in harms way, let them fight. Take off the foolish rules of engagement and let them fight. Listen to the Admirals and Generals. Once we are at war, the politicians need to move aside.
Don’t forget we have armed citizens (and always will) to help protect our soil. If you see something that needs taking care of call the police but if that doesn’t work, we the people need to take care of it. Now that doesn’t mean to be stupid but we have a right to protect ourselves.
I know many people will get mad at this but I don’t care if they do. We need to take care of Iran or N.Korea in a violent way. What do you think, we can let the whole world become infected with muslim extremists then try to stop them? What chance do you think we will have when that happens. Wake up, this is an evil world and you better get ready.
This is pretty interesting. most of us are now seeing the fall of an empire. Yeah, I think ISSIS is doing some stuff here in the U.S.A. It’s a shame. We worry about the Mexicans coming across the border. That’s Okay. Lets accept 200,000 Syrian refugees mixed with ISSIS. The Mexicans are not the problem. At least they do work in the fields. I can only say I’m ready for the next step are you?
I am overwhelmed. I don’t know what to say. I know we need a great leader at this time and no I did not vote for Obama. For some reason I never trusted him.
I DON’T CARE ABOUT OBAMA ANY MORE!!! He is a Lame Duck and He knows it. What fries my eggs is that he was elected not once; but, twice because he was the lesser of two evils; where this really bites US in the butt, didn’t it.
There are well over a dozen candidates running for President and None of them are qualified to handle the international arena. Are we going to vote for the same ole, same ole AGAIN? I hope not. I am looking hard and trying to promote a Well Rounded candidate for office, Yet, none have yet taken the stage nor have proven themselves to me or the country.
Frankly, I am tired of taking it in the shorts because of these clowns. Our military overall does not have a plan to assist the President, now or in the future when it comes to military terrorist like ISIS.
You don’t tell your enemy what your plans are or what will be, in this day and age. With all the media options available to the world why would you broadcast your plans, doubts or short comings to the world? It not only shows weakness but stupidity as well. Yet the news media is constantly opening their big mouths and spreading the news. Tell these clowns and pretenders to shut up and get off the stage. We don’t need people like Hillary Clinton, who’s only goal is to become President so that she can feather her own nest. Don’t believe me? then look at her last 20 years of her political career. She has a habit of doing a half-ass job then moving on. Do you want her doing her usual half-ass job and move on after being President? I don’t think so.
With all the crap that Obama has dumped on this country these last 8 years we will need to get back to basics and clean house, cut the crap and get our hands dirty. Otherwise we will find ourselves up Shit creek with out a paddle or a canoe.
They say a bird in the hand is worth two in the Bush. I for one will not be looking under any more Bushes for President, after the last two in office.
Doesn’t anyone else see the problem with a loud mouth Real Estate agent getting approval points because of his views about immigration? Is this really what we want for our country? I hope not.
Are we too focus on transgenders and not on the problems facing our country? I think so. Lets start doing something about it, otherwise we may as well change our genders and start wearing dresses for the misguided pusses we seem to be.
It only took a handful, of ISIS members, to turn the whole middle east into ISIS. And they said there was 71 ISIS members here. We have thousands of muslims in this country, and this 71, I’m sure can have a very big impact on them. So yes, they are HERE, and it’s not to convert to Christianity. I have a illegal friend, and he told me, your Gov. is worried about Mexicans coming across the border, he said that we’re not the problem, it’s the muslims. He said they have big money, and would pay, to get to certain places in the country. He said, where do U think the drug Cartel got the cutting off heads from. This is why the border patrol is told to stand down, and not make any arrest, because over half coming across, is muslims. Yes, we have plenty of ISIS here, and they’ve made the comment that they want to bring the fight to America, if we don’t go there. And now there are over 2,000 muslims refugees headed to Idaho, and most were not even screened, how many terrorist will be in that group. And this is just the first batch. I think we are to take 20,000. This President has set this country up, to fall, everyway possible. But one of the biggest down falls, to this country, is the amount of people that have turned there back on God. This country turns it’s back on God, he will turn his back, on America. Just look around, God has been taken out of everything!

ISIS could possibly NOT be our problem if this nation would just say to the world “We’re out, bye ” , by being totally isolationist, quit letting folks in. Period. Every time there’s a problem in the world its always the USA s problem!!!never chinas or Russia s problem or any of you other cowards problems.the rest of the world sits back and let’s the USA take care of it.and then cut them down for it!!win or not its always there fault!!but if China or Russia attacked you you would be bagging the USA to save you.Cowards!! How stupid can one man be? Mr. Obama told isis the day we were going to leave Iraq. It doesn’t take a genius to figure that one out. My son-in-law served in those areas for many years in army intelligence. He said the middle-eastern countries are like the Americas were when the white man came. Many different tribes of people who have been at war with each other for 10,000 years. We can’t stop those fights in 10 or 15 years. The irony of it all is, we have a “commander” in chief who told one of the most extreme factions (ISIS) to just lay low until we leave. Then go do what you want. Worst of all there were many in the U.S. who cheered his decision then , and continue to do so. God bless and help the U.S.A. !!!!

I thought you were all about shrinking the power of the federal government. Most of our taxes already go for war (the so-called Dept. of Defense and CIA and DIA and NASA etc.) and Obama’s budget proposes that an additional $38 billion should go to DOD. More war for US means more $ and power to the military. If ISIS is such a threat to the Middle East, why shouldn’t the local countries deal with it?
Slightly over half of our taxes go to the military (55%); however, YOUR president proposes to reduce that to SIXTEEN (16%) percent !!! The difference? He wants it to go to social programs. Surprised ? Feel safer now ?
What else is new with this guy. I have never seen an elected official, except for maybe Feinstein or Pelosi, that hates this country more than he does. God’s curse is surely upon this nation because of leaders and followers of these types of people. I know Frank loves this country as do I otherwise he wouldn’t post blogs like this. We need to again turn to God and pray for this country and people like Obama and his enablers. God bless America and the way it used to be!
