Antarctica Ice Shelf Is Increasing
I don’t mind so much when people such as Al Gore and Barack Obama ramble on about global warming. Neither has a clue what they’re talking about, so in a way it’s humorous. Of course, when the president’s EPA starts making ridiculous laws based on faulty global warming models – and when those laws destroy individual businesses and entire industries such as the coal industry – well, that’s a different story.
And, of course, the lamestream media are in kahoots with them. Any time there is a news story that seems to support the concept of global warming, they’ll splash big headlines on the front pages of their publications for all to see, telling everyone who will listen that mankind is destroying the world.
But whenever there is a news story that goes against what they preach, they’ll completely ignore it. Earlier this year we learned that there were something like 1 million more square miles of ice in the Arctic than there were the year before. But of course the liberal media didn’t report that story.
And now, we discover that the Antarctic sea ice is at its highest levels since 1979. But once again, we don’t hear a peep from the liberal media about that. That’s because it’s a story that doesn’t fit their agenda. I would love it if somebody would show me the science behind how global warming produces more ice than there was before.
This latest news about the Antarctic comes from NASA, and I’m sure the liberals cringed when they saw it. Their scientists immediately jumped to podiums to declare that global warming was still alive and well, and that this phenomenon was caused by winds or snow or something ridiculous like that. And on it goes.
Maybe when we enter another ice age the global warming prattle will end. Either that or they’ll tell us that the ice age was caused by global warming.

Frank we are stuck in a rotating inversion of lies given to us by our government. It seems no other country has to deal with such garbage or lies. If there weren’t folks like you to bring the truth out we would be living in a bigger bubble of deception. Thanks for the truth
In the 1980’s “all the experts agreed” that the Refrigerants (CFC) was causing the ozone holes in the southern hemisphere. Refrigerant that were heavier than air (warning painted directly on the container) was supposed to rise into the upper atmosphere. How, no one could explain, nor could they explain how, once the CFC managed to rise to the upper atmosphere it could cross from the northern to southern hemisphere, Limitation of gas transfer from north to south or south to north is less than 5% under the best of circumstances. At the time 3/4 of all refrigerants were used in the northern hemisphere & the southern hemisphere ozone holes had existed since the 1920’s (prior to introduction of refrigerants).
All of the experts agreed that it had to be so in spite of the any & all evidence.
Global warming/climate change pushers of today are the ideological offspring of the ozone hole/global cooling voices of yesteryear.
I am 70 years old and have been an out door person most of my life. something I have noticed over the years is that climates do change not so much from people. Here in the north west we have cut juniper trees for fire wood and fence posts if you look at the growth rings in these trees, some 400 years old and if you count and watch the growth rings expand and contract. Then see how many were (dry years) small thin rings and how many were large wide (wet years) there is a cycle that at least dates for 400 years. Well before man was able to make a difference. These rings average about 10 to 15 years cycles. Millions of years ago there was Red woods here, they are now rock. So mother nature does have her own agenda.
Not that we do not need to clean up and recycle better. But one large volcano can place more toxic gasses and carbon foot print in one day than we could place there in 50 years. So think about it plants use carbon and water then produce O2. the growth rings appear to me that nature has done a fare job of cleaning up some of our messes if any.
If you look back in history in the 1700s you could sail around Russia northern passage. Then came a mini ice age in Europe killing a third of the people because they could not grow their potato a main staple. Think people! political BS is not controlling any thing. We can help just use your head if you have one.
The earth is dynamic. Different “parts” of the earth are individually dynamic literally nothing about the earth is static, nothing. The oceans move even the land masses move. Seventy-one percent of the earths service is water. So unless water vapor is considered pollution the ocean does not dangerously pollute the environment. Water is, in fact, the element that allows life to be so abundant on earth, The earth is, give or take a mile or so, twenty-five thousand miles around. The ocean has rivers in it and the ocean currents (those rivers) control the moisture throughout the world. The sun controls the temperature of the whole earth but the water temp helps control the temperature and the moisture of the land. The amount of rain and other moisture is controlled by both the oceans and the sun.
The facts; Global climate change is a fact. Man made climate change is without merit. Renewable power sources are good but should be used in conjunction with fossil fuel. Until such time that they are developed further and can stand alone as a reliable inexpensive power source. Anyone who thinks solar, wind and any other renewable energy source will ever replace fossil fuel completely is not thinking clearly. To many things are made from oil and its by products. CO2 has only increased .0008 percent since the late 19th century when automobiles came into being.
The most important thing about energy is the government should get its nose out of it and stop trying to control and change it. The future will take care of itself in free enterprise if the government would just get out of the way. As a matter of fact everything the government gets into to try to control it screws up and makes worse. Why is that so difficult to realize. We have multiple examples around us everywhere everyday. Two perfect examples Amtrak and healthcare. There is nothing wrong with having pollution standards but those standards should not eliminate industry. We must co-exist or perish. Given time coal was made many times cleaner and more progress could be made if allowed. We have the technical ability just not the will. Mainly because it does not fit the global warming false scenario. Stopping it cold however, cannot ever be good. “Most” of the climate change global warming scare is a scam to make money for both individuals and governments. When the EPA was created, there is no doubt it, was needed and needed badly because people were polluting without any regard for the environment. That has stopped for the most part now it is the government itself that pollutes. Who is it that guards against them? We The People lets get busy! Now much of the so called pollution is water vapor in the atmosphere. That is not a pollutant.
Those chicken little’s like barack obama who preach the sky is falling are peaching gloom and doom to people who take them seriously because of ignorance or inability to reason (which in itself is ignorance). There seems to be a lot of them. The earth is somewhere in the neighborhood of 13.7 “billion” years old. It has in all those years gone through thousands if not millions of changes. None of which were caused by the occupants of this planet whether prehistoric animals or human beings. Nothing has changed and nothing will change by mans hands either. Is man still polluting the earth yes, without a doubt. Is that pollution beyond the capabilities of the earth to self cleanse not no, hell no! All of mankind in the scale of things is of little consequence. A million times smaller then the tinniest grain of sand. Humans on this earth will not be destroyed by climate it will be destroyed by other humans on the earth. We can see a preview of things to come right now. Pay attention!
Let’s get real!! It’s all about money. Check out the now defunct Chicago Carbon Exchange (CCX) set up by Al Gore and his cronies. He walked away with $17M when they closed. So sad for you Al….NOT!
I laughed out loud when I heard the Big O declare that “We [translation: HE] will solve this problem” of global warming. Is he aware of the evidence of a solar minimum coming our way within decades? That will result in a cooling trend, which the climamaniacs will then take credit for, and we will all bow before the Big O, who has saved the planet, just as he promised. NOT!
How will they handle the crop failures and other hardships that may come along with this global cooling trend?
I don’t have a PhD in anything, but it’s safe to say I’m more of a scientist than Obama and probably most of the other “leaders” and media mouths emitting pronouncements about the global climate. I did get my Bachelor’s in biochemistry from UC long before science education was much affected by political correctness. The phrase “settled science”, which the climamaniacs are so fond of, sets my teeth on edge. It denies the whole spirit of experimental science. Likewise with their other pet phrase, “carbon pollution”, as carbon is the main building block of all living beings, with its ability to form long chains that are the foundations of complex molecules such as cellulose, proteins, and DNA. Not to mention that the humble CO2 molecule is necessary for life itself, as most of us probably learned in elementary school that plants use CO2 and water to produce carbohydrate and OXYGEN. And without the temperature-moderating “greenhouse effect” of our atmosphere (of which the main “greenhouse gas” is WATER VAPOR) life as we know it on earth would be impossible, as the climate would resemble that of Mars. I could go on and on, but enough already…
Except to mention something else I was rather disillusioned to learn in school. Because scientific research requires funding, the “results” of such research can be influenced by the interests of the ones granting the funding. Follow the money. So I’m not surprised that the climamaniacs can dig up “97% of scientists” who agree with their constructs. (I can’t help noticing how much that sounds like the “9 out of 10 doctors” who recommend Preparation H, Alka-Seltzer, or whatever. Sales job.)
The web site CFACT.org is a good reference for resources pointing to the evidence against climamania, and also for activism against the perpetration of this scam.
Meanwhile, where I live in northern California, it is pouring rain. A natural cycle, the southern oscillation a.k.a. “El Nino”, is intervening in one of the cyclical drought periods which are typical in the West, as those of us who were alive in the 1970s can attest. Even the media parrots are giving lip service to this obvious natural cycle, but then they have to throw in “climate change” as a factor in the weather pattern. Orders from their masters, I suppose…
Many years ago when we were still involved in WW II, my mother told me in my lifetime that I would have to pay for drinking water. I laughed and said, “No Way.” Now I am buying bottled water. She said in the future restaurants will not bring you water unless you ask. Now I as for water because that is all I drink. She said that people would barter goods for water. Yet to come. Also, she said governments were trying to control the weather and if a government did, they could reek havoc on other countries. Did you know that we have a weather station in Alaska where they are trying to control the weather. Smart Lady she was. If other countries are changing the weather and that is why it is too hot, too cold, too rainy, too much inclement weather and drought conditions, then maybe someone has succeeded and they are not telling us. I believe a long time ago man did something to change the weather but we are not doing so now. Countries like China are the worst enemies in every respect, including any weather conditions.
I will leave it up to you to decide if and when things might change for the better or worse.
i am 67 years old now…and way back when i was in school there was a piece in our science book about how the earth was gradually shifting on its axis and that the gradual shift would change our climates over time…ice in one area would melt..ice in another would grow…the penguins would need to move to stay cold…now i never hear anyone talk about how this gradual shift was going to effect global warming, but all the predictions must be true. What i do know for sure is that it has and is happening…the earth has shifted…the sun in the morning does not rise in the same spot it once did 15 years ago..it does not travel over my house during the day in the same place it did when i bought this house. My garden by the fence is now in bright sun all day where before it only got mid afternoon sunshine…the north side of my pa home used to be in direct sunlight all afternoon and evening,…it now sits in shade most of the day…the sun travels in a different path my friends…and i am not the only one who notices…so yes, changing the position of the earth in relationship to the sun will change the climates as we know them now…and if we keep on shifting, it could change them completely for generations to come…so yes, some climates might warm…but others will cool…it is a natural occurrence in this life…hold the marshmallow too long to the fire on one side and it will burn while the other side will stay white…one cools while another heats…ying and yang…so before we talk of global warming, maybe we should talk about how the position of the earth on its axis has changed and how the equator may not really be a true measure of the northern and southern hemisphere forever!!!
When jets hit certain speeds, the moisture in the air will form clouds around them, sometimes almost burying the jet. More moisture, more cloud. Which, because of the speed of a jet gets left behind, causing the comtrail. If there is little moisture less trail, more moisture, more trail. Leaving the misty sky as it disapates. The larger ones are due to heavy moisture that was building up toward a rainy day. It is possible this moves the location of the rain. The pictures of jets in their self-induced clouds are beautiful and instructive. No spraying of chemicals.
The issue is not climate change. The issue is whether man has created it OR the sun cycle we are in now. The sun goes through periodic cycles that can effect us. I too have seen massive chest railing going on for years. Just one ingredient is Aluminum Dioxide. Believe me folks not only do they have the technology to change weather (HAARP) but TAXATION is part of the Agenda 21 plan.
Now if you do t believe me, you can download the entire Agenda21 plan on the Internet. It will take you a while to read it but it is BAD news for us regular folks.
Where do you think they get all their money for black projects? Gullible people for one. Again not denying there are strange weather patterns but if you believe it’s the average person causing it, there’s lots of swamp land in Florida!
“Chem trailing” not chest railing-sorry, auto correct
The changes to earths climate can be seen historically with the human species not having contributed in any significant way. However, to date there were never so many humans inhabiting this wonderful blue planet –
over 8 Billion and growing every day. All of these inhabitants require a roof over their head, food to eat, water to drink and of course some means of making a living unless they are just subsisting on handouts. Although no one ever mentions over population as a reason for the climate change it is primarily the main reason. More people contribute to a greater carbon footprint, water, land and air pollution and of course less land mass in a natural state. I am firmly convinced that as indigene peoples all over the world have prophesied mother nature will eventually clean up the mess that we have been making for the last 200 – 300 years.
Just for fun, I did the math once. Assuming 4 persons per family, housed in one-family homes on 80′ by 100′ lots, the entire world’s population could be housed in the states of California, Washington, Oregon, and Nevada, leaving the rest of the world totally vacant of human life. The problem is not population; it is distribution of resources. And no, a world government is not the way to distribute these resources. Freedom, capitalism, and free enterprise are.
The truth is that “global Warming” will cause an ice age. When the arctic ocean ice melts it increases the humidity in northern latitudes which causes more snow to fall and more cloud cover which will lower temperatures and cause the snow to not melt over the summer. As the accumulation stacks up year after year we get an ice age…
It’s one of the negative feedback mechanisms this planet has to keep weather extremes in check regardless of influences of volcanoes, weather pattern shifts, and yes human activities.
Of course the only thing they can generate tax revenue from is the humans, so that is the “main cause of the problem”, Not just normal climate shift..

Check out Dr. Ed Berry PhD,
He is a climate scientist and has calling the whole global warming and climate change exactly what it is. Bunk.
He has pages of actual scientific proof we are being manipulated for profit and to bankrupt western nations.
I feel and understand the passion of those who have drank the Koolaid and want you to know that you have been duped.
Read Dr. Berry’s blog and documentation. It will open your eyes.
Correction…

This is the biggest scam in history. All this, is to help bankrupt America, since we’re the ones that are going to have to pay the most, according to the useless UN. After all, the UN is pushing for world gun control, also. This scam, is nothing more, than the transformation of world wealth, for the NWO, and the Clinton foundation, also plays a very BIG roll in it! People the ball is rolling down hill, and I don’t see us catching up to it, and it’s not gonna get any better! I love this great country, and I’m not letting go, no matter where it may lead me. God Bless America! P.S. GLOBAL WARMING IS A LIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The government is now trying to pass laws criminalizing those of us who disagree with global warming. They are getting desperate to maintain total control.
it would appear that the primary cause of destructive weather is a imbalance caused by industrial AG. and man made pollution. with the spraying of weather modifying chemicals , and ionic destruction of the upper atmosphere a major contributor. the imbalance of placement of carbon (ground vs air) is a very strong part of unstable and destructive weather, and a major contribution to the droughts on going in the western parts of the country , industrial AG. is a primary contributor to this situation .
it’s funny how all the laws to stop so called “global warming” are placed to control individual people and not governments. Who sprays weather modifying chemicals? governments not individuals. Who subsidizes big industrial AG, the government, who inhibits the small organic farmers, the government. Who percentage wise caused more pollution? The government flying several air force ones around with no one in them. all the government agencies using big SUV’s for thier image, the government heating big useless buildings for all thier agencies. How much global warming does the space shuttle/ space exploration produce. I bet it’s a lot more than my 1968 camero. As usual this is about control not real science!
read history more!!! this is all wrong the earth has cycles of weather patterns its all there in your history books if you read the older ones beforethe powers that began editing them example why were explorers searching northern canada waters 200 years ago for THE NORTHWEST PASSAGE???
why couldnt first explorers of alaska coast enter many of the fjourds DUH fullof glaciers yet 100 or less later they had receded and stayed that way Please do your own research look at the temperatures recorded by us weather scince civil war it doesnt match al gores gobal lie
Tons of science about how old the earth is and How much of it has been frozen over in the millions of years of its existence! How long have WE been here? A tiny tiny tiny spec on the earth calendar and people think they know exactly how she functions and that she is so fragile that we have a large impact on her future plans?
If you look at the big picture, this planet, The whole universe, It controls itself! We give ourselves way to much credit to control this planet and grand space around it! The only thing we control is the simple day to day environment we live in! Maybe we should focus on that instead of the pipe dream that WE are controlling Mother Earth and her destiny? She can wipe us clean off some day just like all the past plants and creatures that come and go over her millions of years of existance.
Wow! I am amazed at the number of people who are still in denial. The science is irrefutable. Sea ice and glaciers are completely different types of frozen water. Sea ice is typically 3-12 feet thick, glaciers are hundreds. The ice pack forming Antarctica’s shelves are in places miles deep. Sea ice forms in days, sometimes over night. Glaciers take eons of snow fall.
I’m not going to suggest a carbon tax, that’s beyond my pay grade. Green energy is no more a “cash cow” than coal or oil, it is simply different and a little more difficult. Fossil fuels are awesome in energy density no doubt, but all that low hanging fruit has a price.
No need to fear what you don’t understand.
Please pardon my multiple posts on this subject, but I consider it an important one because I fear that our governments may use it to cause a lot of harm to our environment and the entire human race. I just found a site with a lot of good information at http://friendsofscience.org
Let us assume for the sake of discussion that the earth is in fact warming and that this warming, if continued, is bad for our survival. We still need to answer some important questions. 1. What percent, if any, of this change is directly attributable to human activity, rather than solar activity, volcanoes, shifts in the jet stream, or other natural phenomena we do not fully understand, and cannot control? Because two events, i.e. increase in atmospheric CO2 and industrialization, happen to somewhat coincide chronologically does not necessarily mean one caused the other. 2. Is it possible or even probable that the natural phenomena that have been influencing the climate since the beginning of time will make a correction before things get too far out of balance? 3. If we feel we must interfere, what can be done without causing undue hardship and harm to people who can least afford it?
Government policies and regulations have far-reaching and often unintended consequences for those people they are imposed upon. I am all for proceeding in a sensible manner to develop more efficient ways to produce energy, food, and other necessary commodities. I am against taking away any person’s livelihood, or causing sickness and possible death for anyone in order to solve a perceived problem whose existence is likely based on flawed research. I have a real problem with any carbon tax or any effort to artificially remove CO2 from the atmosphere. Carbon dioxide is not a poison. It is a naturally occurring component of our atmosphere and is necessary to sustain plant life. Will not increased carbon dioxide, as well as warming, serve to stimulate growth of vegetation, which in turn will remove excess carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, ultimately restoring balance naturally? We need sound research that is not driven by politics or money before we start messing with things that we do not adequately understand.
It has become global climate change,as the data from East Anglia has been largely debunked. In the 1960’s the same data predicted a new ice age. They cooked the books and cherry picked the data they used for cooking them. Simple things like using temperature sensors in the middle of cities and paved parking lots and on the south side of buildings in the N. hemisphere. NASA space data has long shown cooling.
It remains that the earth’s atmospheric CO2 concentration is less than 2%, and man’s contribution to the earth’s CO2 cycle is less than 2%. In order to make any kind of serious dent in man’s CO2production we would have to virtually cease all productive economic activity and kill billions by starvation.
The jury is STILL out, even as those line up against the socialist’s Casandra cry are being hounded out of their professions. First: is there warming? Second: is it good or bad for the planet and its people as a whole? Third: is man causing it? Fourth: Is there anything that mankind do about it? Last: should we do anything?
Mankind as a whole produces about 0.6 cubic kilometers per year of greenhouse gas as flatus. Weshould put a cork in it.
As I drink my morning coffee I always see contrailes going south from Seattle to LA & as they dissapate the sky becomes hazy. I’m with you , the otherDebbi.
Man does not conrol the climate of the earth. Man has a tough time controlling himself. Pick up a Bible ( the manual of all creation) and try reading it. Start with Psalm 2. God (the creator of all ) talks with the Son ( your direct link to God) along with the Holy Spirit ( whick is your direct link to understanding what God has written). Man cannot control what he has not created. Period
I have been trying to get my head around the science issues related to Global Warming for many years. Since about the late 60’s in fact.
That was when my primary school teacher told us about the initial results of the first CO2 monitoring results from Hawaian research run by Professor Keeling. It showed unmistakeable and clear annual seasonal rises and falls, and an equally clear rising trend of both peaks and troughs. The now well known “Keeling Curve.” I was about 10 at the time.
What the teacher said was that this was a big thing….. Nobody knew what the consequences were, or would be, but that a change like this would have larger consequences over time.
What consequences???? Well, there were 3 possibilities…………..
A, The increased greenhouse effect of the extra CO2 would simply cause the planet to get warmer. Simple correlation of cause and effect.
B, the increased temperature would induce more water evaporation, and more cloud, and hence less sunlight reaching the earth which would counteract the temperature rise, resulting in no net difference.
C. A temperature fall, caused by B, and some other side effects.
The conclusion was that nobody yet knew, but that the weight of initial evidence was that possible effect A would turn out to be correct…… Which was the worst possible scenario. ………….But the Jury was still out.
Well, that was nearly 50 years ago!!!!!!!
The jury is no longer out!!!!!!
While the finer details are still being worked out and there is still plenty to discover on this vast subject, it is clear that the world is indeed warming, and that us humans are a principal cause of what is happening!!!!
The effects will show up in different ways in often superficially contradictory ways, and the pattern will be far from uniform. Some areas will get colder, and some warmer. But in most areas, the extremes of weather will become more extreme.
My country Australia for instance, will mostly get much hotter, drier, and more arid overall, but the number of extreme heatwaves will increase in both frequency, and intensity. …………….. And that is indeed what is happening here. Both floods and droughts are getting more and more severe.
Many parts of Europe, for example will get Colder in the winter months. This is because the arctic will show the biggest and fastest temperature rise due to ever decreasing average arctic sea ice coverage, and thawing of the tundra areas. This will cause a shift in weather patterns which will see a reversal of winter winds bringing frigid air from the North East down over northern Europe…………………. At the same time, summer temperatures will increase, especially in southern Europe, leading to extremely hot dry conditions, more bushfires, and more severe droughts in the Mediteranean area, especially the eastern mediteranean area.
All these trends are in actual fact happening.
In my hemisphere, increased temperatures will also cause southern ocean winds to increase in velocity. two effects of this will be that the increased wave action will stir up and mix the upper layers of water, and counter intuitively, also increase in many cases the extent of surface pack ice, as pack ice is blown further northwards, allowing more surface area to actually freeze. But the real problem will be the undermining of the ice shelves with relatively warm water, which will see the ice shelves move and break up much faster than before.
All these predicted events are actually happening.
In Australia, the great barrier reef is in real trouble. Increased acidity caused by increased CO2 levels in the water, and increased temperatures are causing vast coral bleaching events. The largest living structure on the planet is in extreme stress.
……………………. And the list goes on.
I have no thing against people stating their ignorance about things. I am painfully aware of my own ignorance on a whole lot of subjects that I should know more about than I do.
But I do have a problem with those who approach everything from a state of wilful ignorance. Those who see ignorance as a virtue.
Unfortunately this view seems to be the prevailing one from those who are not sceptical, but are outright deniers of everything to do with the idea of anthropogenic (human caused) climate change.
With all due respect.
Russell Morris.
Amen, Russell Morris. Thanks for the cogent explanation. When we stop politicizing this issue and address it objectively maybe we all can have a meaningful discussion on climate change.
According to Russell Morris there is “ever decreasing average arctic sea ice coverage”. According to the NASA satellite photos referenced in this article, the ice area is breaking records. These are mutually exclusive. One is true and the other is false. Where do we look for independent verification?
Well said, Mr. Morris. I am 70 and have lived in the same place for the past 50 years. We have a really big lake nearby west of us, about 2 miles across and 10 miles long, and the Pacific Ocean to the east of us. Back in the 60’s we used to drive our cars onto the lake and cut holes to ice fish. In the 70’s it got too dangerous for cars on the lake but you could still walk out and ice fish. In the 80’s there were parts of the lake that didn’t freeze any more, now in this century for the past 10 years the lake doesn’t even freeze. The cherry blossoms used to bloom in May, now they bloom in April. We used to havde long hot summers with high humidity, fierce thunderstorms, a beautiful fall and a very, very cold, long winter with 3 or 4 blizzards, the kind that took days to dig out of. Now our summers are chilly and wet through July, not as many thunderstorms as we used to get, just long periods of chilly rain. Winters are milder, with fewer snowfalls of consequence. This can all be graphed. Winter before last we had one really big blizzard that my 28″ snow blower couldn’t handle, so I bought a front loader for the 2014/15 winter and didn’t even get to use it once. The ocean has changed too. All the fish I used to catch are gone. We used to get sardine, mackerel, pickerel and squid runs right by the pier, but not anymore, Now the fleets are out for days and when the fish hit the market stalls-the prices! The water’s warmer now and the seaweed and kelp are dying off. The water is too clear and you can see way down to the bottom . Fishing from the shore in the rocks really sucks now and boat fishing is not much better. I used to have a home right by the ocean here, and the beach was about a half-mile to the waterline. Now the waterline is right up to the trees and the beach is gone, replaced by huge tetra concrete structures to stop the erosion and the government bought up all the houses along the beach and we’ve all moved a couple miles inland.
So, yeah, there really IS something going on, and the change is significant enough that a person can experience it in a lifetime, when such changes have taken much longer according to the scientists.
I am a Republican and I DO believe in global warming caused by human influence. The data supporting the global warming theory is increasingly convincing. Republicans, Democrats, Socialists, and Communists, and any ideology you choose, will all have to face the facts. Saving the planet should not be a political or social thing, but a survival thing.
Whether you believe the global warming hype or not, before imposing carbon taxes and green energy mandates on everyday working Americans, I would like to see a study done on the effect of chemtrails or contrails, whatever you choose to call them, on our climate.
I don’t usually put much stock in so-called conspiracy theories, but I have seen this pattern too many times to believe there isn’t something to it. This past Tuesday, we had a beautiful, deep blue cloudless sky. I thought to myself that I should enjoy the day, because tomorrow there would be trails. Sure enough, before noon on Wednesday, there must have been between 40 and 50 persistent trails from planes crisscrossing the sky over my property. I live in a rural area, not on any major airline routes. I find it hard to believe that on Tuesday we had no plane traffic, and then on Wednesday morning all of these planes just happened to fly over. Of course when the trails do start to dissipate, they make the whole sky dull and overcast. Anyone who watches temperature trends knows that an overcast sky traps more heat overnight than a clear one.
It makes me wonder if there isn’t some undocumented atmospheric engineering going on in an attempt to influence our climate.
I don’t know if you are a fan of Michael Crichton, but he wrote “State of Fear” some years ago. It is fiction, based on the premise that government can use fear to direct people to their desired results. The book is focused on global warming, and after the story ends, he includes a lot of information about scientists who are staunchly opposed to the idea. Michael is now deceased, but he was brilliant and very knowledgeable. A recommended read! There are other experts who are saying that we should be preparing for a period of several years of cold, worse than anyone living has seen. One of them suggests that we t entering a cooling period of 30 years. So, pick who you believe, but get ready
.
Global warming nothing more than a cash cow.
I suspect that like many other observable mechanisms that naturally occur our weather system has a cycle on a grand scale. A cycle that is measured by centuries if not thousands of years. I believe that these cycles can be abrupt and that these changes can reverse themselves in a time frame that we can observe within the lifespan of the average person. The really big players from a long term view would be things like volcanism, precipation or lack there of, vegetation or lack there of and lastly the oceanic phenomena of the thermal haline current. These variables can be substantiated by a number of sources such as the geologic record, sediments and ice core samples. Hang on because I have a hunch we are in the beginning phases of a drastic change that has already began with some visible and measurable changes, as evidenced by the current drought we are now experiencing in the western US.
When it’s obviously not ‘global warming’, they call it ‘climate change’! Us simpletons, who of course know nothing, call it weather!
Argue with them and they call you a ‘climate change denier’ and suggest you are mad to disagree with the scientists and should be punished for having such views. History repeats itself. Once upon a time you could be burnt at the stake for suggesting the world was round when most informed scientists stated it was flat. Now that might cause a little local global warming if it became a fashionable punishment again!
