How to Sever a Head, Your Advertising Ties and Your Career… in One Easy Slice
I knew Donald Trump’s election as the 45th president of the United States would shake things up.
I mean, who didn’t realize that?
But what’s most interesting about his first five months in office is how it rattled the Left.
These folks are beside themselves. They go from disillusioned to bitter to angry to confused… and that’s all in a typical day.
Of course, the media is the worst.
During the Obama Administration, they at least pretended to be unbiased. We all knew better. But they tried to make it seem as if they were reporting facts instead of worshipping at their hero’s altar.
But now they don’t even fake it anymore.
All they can talk about is impeaching the man they despise more than anyone else in the country.
The Left is unraveling before our very eyes
Their actions and words are so far over the top that they have become a parody of themselves. All their credibility is gone.
They make threats of violence. They make obscene remarks. They use racial slurs.
And sometimes one of them pretends she is an ISIS member holding a bloodied, decapitated head of the president.
Of course, I’m referring to second-rate comedienne and occasional CNN host Kathy Griffin, who recently caused quite a stir with that act… destroying her career in the process.
Even the liberal-minded CNN decision makers knew they had to fire her for that. Within 24 hours, she was gone.
Another group – the makers of the Squatty Potty, a footstool used during certain bathroom activities – severed advertising ties with Griffin following her unfortunate photo op.
So many jokes… so little time.
Grab your tissues, folks
Even more pathetic than Griffin’s (very possibly illegal) stunt was her “woe is me” television speech that followed.
Instead of admitting she was out of line and apologizing, she blamed Trump for what she did. And she came up with a quote so priceless that I’m thinking of having it framed:
“What’s happening to me has never happened in this great country. A sitting president of the U.S…. is personally trying to ruin my life forever. I’m going to be honest. He broke me, he broke me, he broke me.”
Excuse me while I wipe tears from my eyes.
Ms. Griffin is hardly alone when it comes to the imploding Left.
CNN host Reza Aslan recently called Trump a “piece of (expletive deleted).” This was after the president’s remarks about the London Bridge attacks. And I don’t think Aslan was making a reference to the Squatty Potty.
Not too long ago, comedienne Samantha Bee called Speaker of the House Paul Ryan an (expletive deleted). A while back, lefty entertainer Cher and HBO host Bill Maher both called Sarah Palin a word that I can’t even imply in a family-oriented article.
We should have seen it coming
If you think about it, maybe this whole thing about the Left going nuts isn’t so surprising.
After all, they had eight consecutive years of things going their way. And they were absolutely convinced that Hillary Clinton would be elected. That would have given them at least four to eight more years of things going their way.
So, their world was turned upside down when Trump pulled off the big upset.
Still, media has an obligation to report the news without bias, and that’s just not happening much anymore.
Joe Dugan, founder and executive producer of the South Carolina Tea Party Coalition Convention, summed it up best with this statement to Breitbart News
“Journalism, for the most part has died in this country and I fail to see why, going forward, the president has any obligation to even speak to the propaganda machine that has replaced it. I believe President Trump should speak directly to the American people, on a regular basis and let them choose whether to believe their own ears or the agenda of someone who happens to voice personal opinions of what the president said.”
Well said.
Now, it’s time for me to flip on the TV. I don’t want to miss the next instance of a member of the Left putting his or her foot in their mouth.
You guys should know that a great deal of seniors live alone and we get our tiny bit of income on the 3rd. How about a sale during the 3rd to the 5th so we can partake.

I am sick and tired of people trying to categorizing what I think, do, or feel. I don’t look at myself and say that I’m on the right, left, conservative, liberal or whatever.
I know what is funny to me and often I am confused when others think so one is so funny to them; only because I don’t see it. Kathy Griffin is one such person. I have never seen what is so funny about her or her act. I have always seen her as a desperate person trying to gain attention for herself often at the expense of her subjects. Most of what she has to say are put downs, sarcastic remarks, and demeaning her subjects. I’ve never seen any humor in that.
Just recently Kathy Griffin thought that it was funny holding the sever head of the President of they United States of America. According to her video showing her thinking behind such horrific action; and yet knowing that there will be sever consequences for her actions, she proceeded to complete her so called joke. A joke, supposedly on a subject that occurred over six months ago. In my opinion a dead subject unless you are intent of verbal revenge like Kathy Griffin was intent upon.
Comics often cross the line of good taste in hopes of getting people to laugh or make light of a subject that is difficult to approach under any normal circumstance. Comics I really like to hear from are those that keep their routines clean. I don’t like vulgar language like some use with every other word they utter. Or comics that put down others to build themselves up.
Kathy Griffin knew what she was about to do was wrong. She said that she would have to move to Mexico after showing the video. She went down the path knowing that the consequences would have to be paid and it would cost her. She just didn’t realize that it would cost her everything, her livelihood and reputation and respect.
Kathy Griffin came back the next day to apologize. She did so in a haphazard way. She came off as to being insecure and unrepentant. Personally, I wouldn’t believe her if her tongue came notarized by GOD Himself!
Well, Kathy Griffin got what she was after, notoriety; but, for all the wrong reason. Events that she was booked for began to cancel left and right. People everywhere were upset at what she had done. I was one of them. She will not work for the next few years because of her actions.
So let this be a lesson to all of those comics out there pushing the envelope of humor, be-careful you don’t tear at the fabric of humor. You can stretch it out of shape; but if you tear it, you have gone too far and no amount of apologies will fix it, sincere or not. Then you will have to pay the price, in full!
Kathy Griffin overlooked one thing, common decency. We the American people, are tired of half baked BS. We expect better, not only from our officials but from people that put themselves in the limelight. We expect it of ourselves too.
They are all just like a bunch of punks that belong to any of the numbers of gangs that we have in this country. Not a one of them could stand on their own…it takes a mob of them to show their intents.
COWARDS ALL! Trying to incite violence and invalidate the President because they don’t have enough intelligence to settle their issues

You are absolutely correct in all that you say. But the left is not going away. They are so utterly demented, so filled with venom, that I fear that they will NEVER be united again with the “other half.” Despite all attempts to cure this, I fear that there are dark times ahead.

The people on the left will never stop. There will never be cooperation between the sides when things go on like Bill Maher stating on television that he is a “house nigger”. Now here is someone who should be fired. Instead, we get the moron Ice Cube state that it is OK for blacks to use the word, but not whites. This is a teaching moment. Hey!
