Making a Loaded Baked Potato Dip with our Food4Patriot’s Potato Soup
‘Great with Potato Chips, Wonderful with Waffle Fries’
Every Food4Patriots item can be enjoyed on its own, but sometimes it’s fun to follow proven recipes, or create them yourself.
Today we’re going to show you how to make a delicious Loaded Baked Potato Dip using our Potato Soup from Food4Patriots.
Here are the ingredients for this recipe:
- 4 ounces of cream cheese
- 16 ounces of sour cream
- 1 package of our Potato Soup
- 2 cups of water
- 8 strips of bacon
- shredded cheese
- green onion
Here are the directions:
- Bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a pan.
- Mix in 3/4 cup of our Potato Soup.
- Whisk occasionally so that it doesn’t stick to the pan and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes, or until it starts to thicken.
- Once the soup is thick, remove it from the heat and let it stand for a few minutes.
- Pour it into a bowl, cover it with a clear wrap and let it cool in the refrigerator overnight.
Now that it is completely cooled, it’s time for these final steps:
- Pour the cooled soup into a mixing bowl and add the sour cream and cream cheese.
- Use an electric mixer (or mix it by hand if you prefer) until it’s smooth.
- Stir in five pieces of chopped bacon and one-half cup of shredded cheese.
- Once it’s all mixed together, put it into a serving bowl.
- Garnish with three pieces of chopped bacon, one-quarter cup of shredded cheese and a sliced green onion.
Now you have a delicious dip that’s great for potato chips and wonderful for waffle fries.
