Obama calls global warming a national security threat

Russia has defied international law by invading the Ukraine.
North Korea is threatening to blow South Korea to kingdom come and to shoot nuclear-capable missiles toward the U.S.
Terrorists abroad are planning violent acts against U.S. interests, while terrorists on the mainland are planning violent acts here at home.
So, what does President Obama decide to highlight as a national security threat during a recent speech to Coast Guard cadets? Global warming. Yep, that’s our president, always in touch with what really matters most.
In his speech he said, “I am here today to say that climate change constitutes a serious threat to global security, an immediate risk to our national security, and, make no mistake, it will impact how our military defends our country.” He added that, “climate change will shape how every one of our services plan, operate, train, equip and protect their infrastructure.”
He added that climate change can aggravate poverty and social tensions that can fuel instability and foster terrorist activity and other violence.
Wow, that’s quite a stretch, even for him. If you were asked to speak about national security threats to a group of cadets, which issue would you choose as the most important? And, no fair choosing the endangered crawling water beetle. Rumor has it that’s Obama’s topic for next year.

The ice age ended centuries ago and the earth has been warming without man’s influence since. Global warming today is based on computer models, not actual data. Weather measuring stations have significantly decreased. The list of these stations that use to be on the internet was taken off when it was pointed out many of the problems with these sites,i.e. near air conditioner exhaust, near burn barrels, jet exhaust areas at airports, etc. When raw data was requested from several global warming scientists, the data was “lost”, several different collection methods were used to best fit preconceived outcomes, etc. News networks will not cover scientists that publish work conflicting with global warming and even social media will censor anti-global warming posts.
A little off the subject here, but I wanted to ask Frank if we can get something other than the soup packages the next time he does the $10 72 hour food kits? Does anyone know where to post that where it would go to Patriot Headquarters?

As anyone who has done their homework knows, global warming is a much bigger threat to the US than any combination of enemy nations or terrorist organizations. We need to curb our paranoia, quit using our resources to terrorize other countries (which is the main reason we have enemies) and start focusing on protecting the environment and putting the brakes on human caused climate change. There is nothing patriotic about an organization that refuses to address the read threats to the US; that is global warming, developing clean renewable energy sources, and the lack of affordable health care coverage and affordable education opportunities. About time for the Patriot Headquarters to start doing some homework.
Ovomit doesn’t know or care anything about security. In fact, security of America is diametrically opposite to his agenda. However, we are stewards of this wonderful and beautiful planet we have been given. Mankind has raped the land through ignorance and polluted most of our soil, water and wonderful wildernesses through selfish greed and laziness. We owe it to ourselves and future generations to make some changes while we still can. Push for better methods of recycling; demand that corporate polluters and dumpers are heavily punished and forced to clean up their messes; plant a tree; clean up litter in your neighborhood, in your city even if it’s not in your gated community and quit adding to it; stop making fun of those who care and take some responsibility on your own self.
Yes, a lot of the global warning stuff is a hoax, the Earth goes through cycles, it has (is still in the process) shifted on it’s axis and some changes will be permanent but we can make changes to compensate for these if we stop arguing and put our collective minds to it.

Just say it was true the scientific facts they have given is the earth surface will increase in temperature 1 to 3 degrees in 40 years if that’s true you would kill your economy on 1 to 3 degrees wake up America. 12 scientist in the Antarctic say we have more polar icecaps than ever before. Corn Oil and anything with corn in it was bad for you. Now look corn oil and so forth is back on the market.
Obama is full of it. There is no global warming. As far as I’m concerned we have four seasons, spring which is starts getting warmer, summer, get a lot warmer, fall, which is starts cooling down and winter, which is a lot cooler.

Trump is the only candidate who will effectively secure our borders. Sanders is a Socialist who’s never held a job and his only answer is to raise taxes. And Hillary, is a lying, criminal, doesn’t support our military or respect the persons responsible for guarding her life and is directly to blame for the people who died at Benghazi.

The Earth is only going through one of the many cycles it has done for thousand s of years.
In my opinion, Obama’s only agenda is to destroy America as a world power. This speech to the Coast Guard Academy is pure misdirection, and totally useless. National security is being able to stop threats to the safety and security of our Country, not worry about a natural process that man has never aggravated, nor is responsible for. There has been climate change in the past many times, and there will be climate changes in the future because these changes are naturally cyclic. Geologists, and forensic Archaeologists KNOW this is a natural cycle the Earth has had throughout the millennia past, and we do not have the technology to control the weather, nor do we have the knowledge to even begin to stop this era of change. Carbon Emission is GOOD for the world’s flora and fauna. Plant life and trees DEPEND on carbon dioxide emissions to exist, as they change the carbon into oxygen, and provide for our needs in foodstuffs, and building materials. Why take a natural process and blame man for it? Control. Unconditional control of people that the governments have wanted since civilization began.
Global warming is happening…but not for the prefabricated lies and excuses that we hear on the news…I am 68…back when i was in school and studying science, the scientists predictions was that the earth was shifting on its axis and that one day the polar ice caps would melt and that the penguins would not have ice to walk around on and that water tables in the oceans would rise because of this shift and tilt of the earth in relationship to the sun. Fifteen years ago, i bought a house in Western pa…the sun rose in a spot to the south side of my house and angled across and the north side of my house was always in extremely bright hot sunshine…today the sun never even reaches that side of my house …and i do not mean in the winter, i mean all year long.. so google that and tell the people the truth about all this global warming crap cause it is not hot cow shit..coal gases…car emissions, or anything else that has been concocted to put money in the hands of some ‘concerned’ big business enterprise employed to study the cause and effects or clean up the problems…if they could solve the problem of the earth shifting on its axis, then go for it…but i think they are just milking the cow…maybe they should study the force exerted against the earth and earths atmosphere each time a space craft takes off to outer space…could that have something to do with the globe warming more on one side than on the other?? hmmmmm…
The seawall on the beach below where I live has been built up twice,first was 5ft. and second time was 3ft. The road has been built up 4ft. also all of this in 45yrs. In another 20 yrs. it will at this rate have to be built up an additional 4ft. Lived here all my life and I can see it’s happening faster than it’s being reported
We’ve been taught that the polar ice caps are mostly ice floating on the water (Antarctica does have a land mass under the snow). Ice displaces as much water as the liquid water would if the ice were to melt. Therefore, there would be no perceptible rise in ocean levels if all that floating ice were to melt.
So, our President says climate change “can aggravate poverty and social tensions that can fuel instability and foster terrorist activity and other violence.” I thought that was what his administration has been attempting to do from the beginning. The only people dumber (or maybe deliberately evil) are the ones who elected him to office twice.
I think the worst threat to our national security right now is the uncontrolled illegal immigration. Our armed services need to get back to defending our own borders, which was their original purpose for existing anyway. It is not only Mexicans looking for jobs and freebies that are coming here, but terrorists and other violent criminals as well.
