We bought one and tried it out. You do have to run the filter thru a couple times with water. It took a short time to filter the water and tasted good. We decided to store it just in case. We put the filter back in original package added water and a couple drops of alcohol . I called to food4patriots for info to keep the filter from drying out and placed in refrigerator. It will be there when we need it..
I am with you Duane Williams! I cannot afford one of these wonderful water purifiers, but if I ever, before the stuff hits the fan am able to do so I will also purchase one in a skinny minute! I buy what I can when I can in products for emergency but retirement limits many things and unfortunately this is one of them.
I would dearly love to have an Alexis water purifier…I know there is none better, not even the great Berkley!! But there is no way I can afford this jewel!! If I ever get to the place I can, I will own it in a heartbeat!!
